	A slightly different base than the rest of the medicated ointment range due to the need to keep heat retaining properties at a minimum so as not to exacerbate the condition. This product has been blended in a similar way to the Baby Barrier Balm, Light Avocado Barrier Cream and the Dry/Sensitive Replenishing Cream. It is based around our lovely native New Zealand plant gel formulation with added extracts of seaweed and citrus with supporting burn healing herbs of avena sativa (oatstraw), lavender, lymphatic herbs of gallium aparine (goosegrass or cleavers), stellaria media (chickweed) a wonderful cooling, soothing skin emollient, hypericum perforatum (nerve tissue regenerator and pain relief), symphytum spp (comfrey) for its allantoin content which aids in deep healing with lessening the incidence of scar tissue whilst possessing a remarkable ability to stimulate tissue regrowth. This wonderful herb further possesses more remarkable qualities in its anti-inflammatory actions and emollient properties. Rubus idaeus for its astringency all further supported by essential oils and extra added New Zealand plant gel to hold the active ingredients in contact with the skin for optimum healing advantage. Suitable application for sunburn and minor burns and scalds.
