Oily/problem skin is generally identifiable by having a coarse-grained texture, shiny appearance that is greasy to the touch, open/dilated pores, blackheads acne skin blemishes. It is vulnerable to clogged pores development of blackheads and acne and subject to infection. Water in oil preparations tend to be heavier and can exacerbate oily skin conditions so we have formulated our oil in water preparation to best suit oily skin condition. Our lovely native New Zealand plant gel formulation is incorporated into a gel along with certified organic tea tree water used for its antimicrobial, antiseptic and bactericidal properties, lighter oils of apricot kernel and jojoba with a small quantity of avocado and sesame for their sun filtering properties, certified organic symphytum for its vulnerary, anti-inflammatory, and astringent actions, seaweed extracts, equisetum arvense for its high mineral content in particular silica, witch hazel/rubus idaeus for its astringency, and our own blend of essential oils specially suited for oily/problem skins.
